Ejler Bille
Ejler Bille (1910–2004) was a pioneering Danish painter and sculptor known for his vibrant, rhythmic abstractions. A member of groups like Linien and CoBrA, he developed a highly personal style blending stylised organic shapes, symbolic motifs and a rich, shimmering use of colour. Inspired by both Nordic nature and international modernism, Bille’s works radiate energy and lyricism, layering small, vivid brushstrokes into compositions that feel at once ornamental and alive.
