Corneille

Corneille (1922–2010), born Guillaume Cornelis van Beverloo, was a Dutch painter and co-founder of CoBrA. His lyrical, brightly coloured works feature birds, women and fantastical landscapes that blend folk art simplicity with playful abstraction.
