Asger Jorn
Asger Jorn (1914–1973) was a leading figure in Danish modern art and co-founder of the CoBrA movement. His paintings unite bold, spontaneous brushwork and vivid colour with Nordic myths and symbols, transforming them into powerful, expressive abstractions. Jorn’s art pulses with energy, humour and raw emotion, making him one of the most dynamic voices of post-war European painting.
